Work me, place!
Photo diary, 2020–2024

Work︎︎︎
Grow︎︎︎
Delimit︎︎︎
Transform︎︎︎

For years I've been trying to explore and understand the place(s) I work in. I've been watching and listening, comparing months and days and hours in sounds and light, in vegetation and temperature. I've also been observing myself, my modifications to the place, and the transformation I bring through my work or my being there. Capturing all this information through photos, video and sound clips in ways appropriate for each condition has become a project in itself. I constantly re-view, analyse and evaluate the material in order to better understand the kind of influence my work and my workplace have on each other. From time to time, new works emerge from this process and tell a whole new story.

I would like this to be a growing collection. However, as there is still no opt-out from AI scraping, no proper compensation and only limited defences, I shy away from doing so. Instead, I'm returning to «ancient» methods of distribution by sending out a physical newsletter with photo prints (Sign-up form︎︎︎) and publishing my work in print.
